Today my Monday Moodboard is inspired to the typical “Spring Cleaning” feeling: I picked my items from European Street Team designers at Etsy searching for items on special sale price!
We all need to make space in our closets, shelves, drawers for new projects. I did it myself, that’s why I put one of my prints in this moodboard: I put everything on my Etsy shop 50% off from today!
Clockwise from left:
“SALE – Japanese Sky, open edition print” by The Artist’s Nature (Italy)
“Brooch the Sea flower” by Dewbead (Europe)
“SALE – Maggie – 5×5 original fine art photograph” by Felicity Crew (Austria)
“Aqua and Mint hoops” by Fleurfatale (Belgium)
“Destash Jacquard Upholstery Fabrics” by Binkaminka (Latvia)
“SALE – Opposites – asymmetrical necklace made of fabric, glass beads and brass filigree on brass chain” by Vadjutka (Hungary)
Above all, thanks for all the people who left nice comments here and on Twitter about our beloved Space Dog, Paco.
He is stills bravely sporting his lampshade and his eye is recovering fine.
Today is one of those days when I feel the need of a lot of purple around me… Enough purple to face an hard day and hard week of work and errands!
Here is my Monday Moodboard for today, picked from European Street Team designers at Etsy.
I searched for “Europeanstreetteam” and “purple” on Etsy and those are just some of the wonderful items I found.

Paco is back home after his operation this morning. He had a nodule in his eyelid removed.
He is doing fine, even if when he came back he couldn’t walk properly and looked like a drunken dog because of the anesthesia!
He is not really happy of having to wear that huge space-like collar, but I will eventually persuade him it is the latest trend in dog fashion…
Good Monday! Here is my Monday Moodboard for today, picked from European Street Team designers at Etsy.
I noticed most of them this Monday are from The Netherlands… It is not a coincidence I love that country so much!
Clockwise from left: “Happy Days red Valentine ZigZag Photo Book” by Nauli (Germany)
“Almost Weekend – necklace made of fabric and brass filigrees on brass chain” by vadjutka (Hungary)
“Raspberry – Signed Fine Art Photographic Print” by kittynel (The Netherlands)
“Wetfelted bracelets in red-pinkish tones set of two” by Viltalakim (The Netherlands)
“Little Red Lost in the Forest – Blank Moleskine Notebook Journal” by KittyDarknessDesigns (The Netherlands)
“Sun and Hearts – Hand Embroidered Tags” by deepindigo (The Netherlands)
Today I woke up and found out… It was snowing! The last time we saw some snow in Rome it was in 1985 so it is a great event.
I couldn’t resist and have a walk in the park and around the town to shoot some pics of all the whiteness.
You can also meet my neighbour’s dog, Charlie, who wasn’t really sure of that white thing that invaded his space…
The park was desert and I felt like an ice princess in a surreal, enchanted world. I love snow.
Who knows, maybe I can talk my husband into moving to Sweden…
I’ve been away too long from my blog… And Monday Moodboards! Here are some beautiful things from some of my favorite European Street Team designs at Etsy.
Clockwise from left:
“Swallows on the wire pillow” by Atelier Pompadour (Italy)
“Autumn one” by JKphotography (The Netherlands)
“Bridal satin bow brooch with round locket” by Lilo Shop (Austria)
“Cotton top – in grey with floral print” by ThongbaiTatong (The Netherlands)
Wow! How long since my last entry… I’m sorry, I’ve been quite busy lately.
You will understand why taking a look at what the postman brought this morning:
“Felt to Stitch: Creative Felting for Textile Artists” by Sheila Smith and ” PHP for the Web: Visual QuickStart Guide” by Larry Ullman.
(The package arrived from my beloved Amazon UK, of course).
These books are opposites of creativity in my own opinion, both interesting but so different.
Of course my love goes to the art part and I’d rather spend all my day felting, stitching, drawing and painting… But I have to learn PHP, along with a lot of other stuff, for my job.
That is why I’m feeling torn between those opposites and not much time is left for blogging!
Incredibly, I did it! I don’t have much energy left to comment this challenge, but I’m proud to say that I wrote a 50,000 words long novel in 30 days, all by hand on one Moleskine notebook, for the Nanowrimo challenge.
I’m quite sure I won’t win the Nobel Prize with this novel – it is quite messy just now – but I wrote it!
Now I’m going to collapse on my couch. Have a great Monday!
I’ve been away too long from my blog… I catch the chance to post something beautiful with this Monday Moodboard from some of my favorite European Street Team designs at Etsy inspired by the novel I’m writing for Nanowrimo. Still untitled, but I’m near 35.000 words now and keeping writing like mad!
