The My Amazing Brain magazine was created for the Neurodiversity Foundation as part of Brain Awareness Week, an initiative of the Dana Foundation to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research.
The magazine has been designed as a tool for kids aged 10 to 12 to explore their brain’s superpowers during school workshops. As the target audience is young, I created the concept of the “magazine” by taking inspiration from the publications aimed to teenagers, like for example “National Geographic Junior”.
To guide for the kids in exploring the world of their amazing brain, the little character “Brainy” has been created.
Inside the magazine, there are two posters that the kids can use in the classroom to further work on the concepts presented in the magazine.
